A Love Like Nipsey Hussle & Lauren London.
What time can evolve and take away.
I used to pray for a love like Lauren London had with Nipsey Hussle. A best friend and spiritual connection.
And then from out of the soul of the Universe, my love appeared.
And while have been so incredibly blessed, the irony to me is the sudden departure and loss of Nipsey Hussle from this earth.
I remember their relationship being such a hopeful thing to watch unfold. It was hopeful and it was real. And low key. When he died, even my baby’s father reached out to me. Their love touched everyone in the BIPOC/hip hop community. Even the President of the United States grieved. He knew the level of loss to the Crenshaw community was absolutely irreplaceable. The pain seemed to have a ricochet effect, it reverberated all across the nation and beyond. It was a stunning loss that felt personal because Nipsey Hussle and Lauren London allowed themselves to be real and transparent as artists and in love, and everyday people admired and respected that.
