Catch and release anymore.

I want to feel the hook

Go into me

Deeper than before

And stay lodged

under my skin

Nearer to my soul

Pain is the site

And if you go

The scar will be

The dimmed Half light

Of who you were to me

Stay and remain the pain I love

The pain I invite

The pain you incite

This pain is a muse

This pain is insight

The pain of losing

Your presence

Is far deeper than

Remaining hooked

So. Stay in my body

Longer.

Don’t go.

Of you remaining

Hooked.

Deeply intertwined

But with me,

Nonetheless.

I want the sharpest part

To pierce my soul
