Dear Mrs. Wells,

I cannot sleep. I am thinking about you and your son.

I feel sick thinking about what has happened.

And I pray that you and your son continue to stay heavy on my mind, my heart, leading me to less prayer and more direct course of social action that persists until freedom.

I don’t know what else to say.

I beg God for a special protection over you, a healing over you.
