Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy.
You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

Micah 7:18–19

Worthy / You Are Holy / We Fall Down (Live) — ‪@JohnWilds‬ , Bethel Music — YouTube

For the women and girls who experience brokenness and separation from their God, because of shame. Whether because of the fallout of grief from making mistakes that violate your faith values. Or that your choices have disrupted the social order within your culture, whether you were sent away, or disowned, or shamed. Today. Remember you are forgiven.

And you can be made new. God still loves you. There is nothing you can do that will separate you from His love for you.

So many times, I still have, in my most private and intimate moments with God. I come to my Father and ask Him over and over again, How can you love me, for all the things I have done? For becoming an unmarried Mom, for raising my son outside the community, having been sent away and disowned not once, but twice by my worldly family?

He just says; it’s okay. I love you. You are precious. You are loved. You are worthy of a good life. And you are forgiven.

Indeed. He takes all of our shame and iniquities and casts them into the depths of the sea.

I love you. God loves you. Be loosed of your mistakes. Let them be in the past. Hold your head up. And go on.
