It’s mind blowing to think that the defense approached her with regard to her sexual history and insinuated she was at fault or that Lanez was justified for literally shooting her because she allegedly slept with a man and engaged in an argument. It’s just riddled with so much racialized misogyny regarding minority women I’m nearly rendered speechless. It is absolutely horrifying to think that women of color can be completely dehumanized and all our accolades and contributions to society be stripped because we have sex or stand up for our dignity and right to live. Unbelievable.
