It’s true tho. I also felt like this is why Hilary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren aren’t President. You’re too hot, you’re fucked. You’re not hot enough, you’re fucked. You’re not likable as a woman either way. They got it right with Megan Thee Stallion because, in my opinion, of the history of sociopolitics unique to LA. I think the OJ Simpson case really laid a foundation there, the King Riots. All these cases in the last 30 years or so that the LA DA probably knew if they let Lanez walk, the city would burn. I feel like right now there’s also a big push socially - and rightfully so- for BIPOC and AAPI women survivors to be taken seriously. I don’t like amber heard either but the way she was treated was wrong. She’s a stuck up white woman for sure, but she deserves Justice as a DV survivor.
