Jemele Hill May Have Been a Little Harsh, But She’s Still Correct.

Hill has a particular style of delivery that’s not to everyone’s preference, but she’s still right.

NPR

Jemele Hill may have been a bit harsh in delivery, but she is still correct. African Americans have paved the way for racial equity for Asian Americans. Acknowledging this helps us heal as one community.

“I want a home here not only for the negro, the [mixed race] and the Latin races; but I want the Asiatic to find a home here in the United States, and feel at home here, both for his sake and for ours.” — Frederick Douglas, advocating for the end of the Chinese Exclusion Act

That’s pretty much it.

Oh yeah and Jason Whitlock’s comments back to Jemele Hill are ridiculous.

He’s part of the problem, not the solution.

You know the only other thing I’ll say about all this is since this ruling came down I have not heard or seen one thing in the media by White people complaining or all up in arms about this.

You know why?
