Many saw the headlines about Maegan Hall, the former Tennessee police officer who was fired for admitting to having sexual relations with 7 of her colleagues while both on and off duty.
White Women: Your ‘Love’ Is Dangerous
Maegan Hall is a White woman who may have been socially conditioned to behave inappropriately and in wreckless ways with very little or no consequences. Someone like Maegan Hall could or may behave wrecklessly or without regard for unintended consequences of others. Someone like Maegan Hall could hurt or damage people of color and/or womxn of color because of such behavior. As a White woman, Maegan Hall has the power to then disregard this by then shifting the narrative to obtain punitive consequences for those she herself actually victimized, all while continuing to somehow re-center the narrative on her own alleged and perceived vicitmization.
White women tend to be raised to have no boundaries because social constructs were inherently built to both justify their actions and protect them simultaneously.
