There was another School Shooting in the United States this Week.

I am crying right now.
I don’t know what else to say or write. As a mom, I feel unheard. As a woman, I feel unheard. As a human being, I feel unheard.
I am counting the hours down before I bring my son back to school.
He is 7. They have an active shooter drill later this week.
Again. He is 7.

When I was in 7th grade, Columbine happened. So many prayers since April 20, 1999. Countless shootings. The lobbyists, the sociopolitical silencing on domestic violence, the excuses, the finger pointing at anyone, anything…
