Wow. This is a fascinating, bizarre read. Van Jones is an interesting person. I think it’s a great point made in the article about generalizing a whole community based off a few people in a movement. Idk. The activist scene these days is also wildly more performative than it was back in the day. Back in the civil rights movement, I feel people risked their lives. Today, it feels very trendy or something. It has really been cheapened. So I have some mixed feelings. But I definitely feel Mr. Jones is a bit of a disingenuous actor.
